There is so much I didn't know about being an adult, let alone how to be a "good" woman.
Like me perhaps you are the oldest and if not you are the most responsible. You are the one everyone calls when they need something.
There was a season in your life when you held your head up high. Tired but you kept going with pride because you had your shit together.
One day you may have even decided to take a chance on this thing called love and got married.
Or at a young age, like me, you became a single mother. I had my first child at 19 and I poured my all into being a great mom.
I had one goal - be a better mother to my child than my mother was to me.
Hold up, back track. Before I could have children I was taking care of siblings and cousins.
I heard things like women are natural nurturers and before I knew it, I defined myself by my ability to serve others.
My next goal shifted from singleness to becoming a wife. I attempted twice.
The first marriage was abusive on all levels and from start to finish it didn't even make 2 years.
My second marriage lasted for two decades before my entire world got turned upside down.
After years of going to church, praying, fasting, faithfulness, forgiveness, serving, sacrificing and making concessions to protect the family I built
I FOUND MYSELF READY TO END IT ALL.
My dream became a nightmare.
It may not have been a spouse for you.
Maybe a narcissist parent, toxic relationships with girlfriends
Ungrateful children or an overbearing boss.
You invested in what you believed was real and you were willing to do anything to protect it?
You genuinely were trying to be a woman of character and live a life you could be proud of.
At some point the over-giving revealed its true demon of self neglect.
It may have begin to manifest as:
excessive weight
increased inflammation
food addictions
emotional eating
laziness
pains in the body
headaches
diabetes
high blood pressure
depression (we hide this one well)
suicidal thoughts
lack of motivation
irritability
and don't be an older woman who is premenopausal
This just turned everything up 1000 degrees
But some how you keep getting promotions, celebrating anniversaries and birthdays, acquiring more degrees starting businesses
People admire you and see your success
but behind closed doors you are cracking under pressure.
Maybe you have entertained suicide and the same ungrateful kids who get on your nerves are the reason you won't do it.
You keep trying to hold it all together and psyche yourself out because you are the strong one.
But in reality, you are watching your life fall apart. Maybe you have already gone through this stage.
Prayers turn into disdain. Where is God in the midst of this ISH?
Cuz, if one more thing happens you will reach your breaking point.
You are one of the good ones. Hell yes this season in your life is everything but fair.
Nothing is going according to plan.
You begin to watch your world crumble around you as you question your:
Existence
Sanity
Purpose
Relationships
Beliefs
You question everything.
Can you trust yourself because look at the amazing job you did with this life.
Even if you finally made it out of this phase you still feel unhinged. An excessive need to protect yourself has taken over.
Terms like excessive masculinity make you sick when you hear a man say it but deep down
you are dying to be a free light-hearted divine feminine soul.
Maybe you don't use those words but you for damn sure are tired of being and doing all the things.
You need an extended respite.
You need healing and restoration. You need to tap back into your spirituality but even that is challenging
as you may need to resolve some new beliefs against religious upbringing.
COSTA RICA became my place of refuge to heal. I discovered hidden places that were haunting me.
I healed on a soul and cellular level.
Weight radically declined.
My nervous system reset.
Burdens feel off of me.
I became less and less triggered.
I found my voice.
Heightened my Awethenticity
Gained spiritual clarity
Recovered from financial strain.

Travel Day
For convenience. all attendees are requested to arrive by 12:30 MST PM Costa Rican Time
This will enable the host to be available as a guide to get all attendees to Puerto Viejo. This requires a 5-hour bus ride. Attendess will be allowed to get settled in and rest. Day 1 will not commence until 10 AM
Wednesday, June 17-22, 2026
Our time together will be between the hours of 8 AM and 6 PM.
This is not a regimented event. The flow is determined by the needs of the participants.
We will eat meals together as those moment are for light coaching and reflection as well.

Travel Plans
Ladies you are highly encouraged to arrive early. You will need time to rest and get situated. We have a full schedule. The event will begin on time. Please hear me beautiful, this is not a PITCH FEST! This is a LIVE INTERACTIVE COACHING EXPERIENCE! Come prepared to take notes and participate!
Dress Code
Comfortable and Light clothing. Short and tank T's are suggested, A good pair of walking shoes.
Flip-flop for the beach. Bring swim wear. The water is very shallow and there will be water exercises.
What's Included with your Ticket Purchase
June - 17 - 22 Breakfast will be provided daily either by the host hotel or light fruits and beverages by the host. $15 allowance for lunch.
Travel from Airport to Puerto Viejo & Travel back from Puerto Viefo to the Airport
Any fees for transportation for the event. Access to the Relentless Queens Facebook Coaching Group.
What is Not Included with your Ticket Purchase
Your flight is not included. It must be paid for separately out of your pocket. Tuk Tuk and Uber fees for independent exploration. Dinner is not covered
FAQ's and Policies
REFUND POLICY: Your retreat ticket is NON-REFUNDABLE, but fully transferable to another person if you can no longer attend. At the host discretion with proper notice minus fees already toward coaching, reservations etc. your money may be transferred for a future event or other services. This is evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
PAYMENT POLICY: Attendees' balance must be paid in full, by the due date of May 15, 2026.

Q: What is the refund policy?

Q: Where will the event be hosted?
A: The preferred location is Hotel Umami in Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica. Depending on registration and availability the location may be at an AirBNB TBA.
Q: Will I have my own room?
A: There are no guarantees. Some rooms will be singular and other situations are typically two to a room. Some hosts provide sofa beds. Every effort will be made to secure the most comfortable experience. Rooms will be assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Q: Are meals included in the price?
A: Breakfast - If at Hotel Umami breakfast is included. If at an Airbnb light breakfast will be provided. An allowance of $15 for lunch June 17 - 22, 2026.
Q: Is this event open to non-Black women?
A: Yes! Although Auguste Crenshaw's audience is primarily women of color. The event will express a heavy emphasis on issues specific to African American women. To ensure there is no discomfort it is best to set up a time to speak with the host prior to deciding to register. Healing strategies are universal, however, we will not take a universal approach to our teaching. Our methods are communal and culturally based. We do not discriminate against any race. You are welcome to join us, provided you are ready to fully embrace our culture and methodology! Efforts will not be made to empathize or sympathize with your preferred learning style or cultural beliefs/upbringing.
Q: How do I get to the host location from the airport?
A: Further detail will be provided. Your host will provide designated location details later. The host will accompany you provided your itinerary coincides with requested arrival times of said host.
